Livescience.com says culture is religion, food, dress, language, marriage and music. Merriam-webster.com describes behavior as the way in which someone conducts oneself. Both play a role in social learning. Culture carries the weight of how our environment effects us. And how our behavior is based on that attachment.
Hip-Hop can be used as an example of cultures role as an attachment. Hip-Hop was born out of poverty in the 1970's. Black and Brown youth expressed their pain, hustle and celebration through "dress, language and music". This attachment has given birth to certain behaviors.
The behaviors attached to the Hip-Hop culture shows up in many ways. By using the social learning theory of how aggression shows up in our environment. Proactive aggression in Hip-Hop can be seen as using creativity and the grind to get out of an impoverished lifestyle. Reactive aggression on the other hand, is when language is used as disrespect that leads to violence.
When culture and behavior attaches itself to a group, we must take in the risk factors. In Hip-Hop the likelihood arrives when its monetized. The role of culture and behavior changes when money becomes the main attachment. And no protective factors are in place. A protective element in Hip-Hop culture is resilience. The ability to rise and reinvent may change the way culture and its behavior are viewed in this scope.
